Trip Pictures

We arrived home last night after sixteen days on the road. Here are a few pictures:

This is Delicate Arch in Utah. That's Seth in the white shirt and me in the red.
These arches were huge. The people in the background were still several hundred feet from the first arch when the picture was taken.
Instead of assigning the dishes to a few people, we all decided to pitch in. So we loaded up all our dishes, soap, towels, and even a drain rack, and marched off to the shower house. Doing the dishes has rarely been so fun.
We spent one day riding the train.

One windy morning it took all of us to get the tent rolled up.
We got to see our cousin Bree get married. Congratulations, Bree!!
Our grandmother gave us her piano, so we rented a U-haul and towed it back to Houston. Here it is coming through the front door.

Your pictures are great! You visited so many beautiful places. I do have one teeny question...why are you washing dishes in the shower?? My kids would be sliding in the soap across the shower; is that what made it such fun for y'all??

Glad y'all are back safe and sound!

In Him,
Lora

Lora: I am now picturing us all in a shower stall trying to do dishes. Too Funny. Actually, the campground where we were staying had a kitchen sink for washing dishes set up at the building which housed the men's and women's bathrooms. Unfortunately, there was no counter space, so someone had to hold any dish which we didn't want to set on the ground.

Katie: Yes, Papa takes good pictures.

Jessica: Thanks for visiting! It is a lot of fun to be able to travel together.

Those are great pictures! The Delicate Arch looks enormous! It must be amazing to stand there under it. And the scenery is gorgeous!
